What? Gone Fishing

Sound like a weird blog for a woman but I can say I probably know as much about fishing as my son. See when Dusty was 14 I bought him his first boat that is all he ever wanted to do was fish. We lived on the lake and the marine was next door to us. The first time he entered a fishing tournament on Wednesday night he was the youngest one there. All these other guys had their 10 thousand dollar boats and here he was in his 2 thousand dollar boat. But the look on his face was worth everything to me. He had no father fiqure in his life so I was pretty much it.
He keep going and I would go and watch him weigh in. After a couple weeks he started win the biggest fish and then the most pounds. He was making himself a little money and was happy as he could be. The older guys got use to him being there they watched him grow up in that little fishing boat. Finally some of the guys were like Dusty show me where you are fishing show me what you are using. I was so proud of him. There was only one problem I had no idea he was sneaking out of the house late at night when I was asleep and finding the best places to fish. He knew that river like the back of his hand. He could ride by the light of the moon. When I found out my heart sank what if something had happened to him I would have never known it. For Christmas the first year he was fishing I bought him a tackle box and everything you can think off to go in it. Happy was he and it made my heart swell up to see him fish I was so proud. Then he grew up tall and handsome and I watched him still fish he ate, sleep, and drank fishing. From then until now his favorite phrase is I'm gone fishing and that is his happy times. I watched from a little boy and now he is 6"4" and he is still my little boy. So I will give you secrets on this blog and ways to catch that one fish that will put you over the top. That is if I can find him on the river to tell me. Thanks for stopping by and reading this we are gone fishing.
